Welcome to Nurido ("Nurido", "we", "our", or "us").

Nurido is a health and nutrition assistant designed to help users track meals, calories, macronutrients, weight, and personal fitness goals. Nurido also provides optional AI-powered food analysis and conversational nutrition assistance.

We respect your privacy and adhere to data minimization principles: we collect and process only the information strictly necessary to provide, maintain, and improve the Application.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Nurido processes, how that information is used, where it is stored, how third-party services are involved, and how you can manage or delete your data. By using Nurido, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2.1 Information You Provide

Nurido may process information that you voluntarily enter into the Application, including:

• Account Information (Optional): If you choose to create an account to use certain AI features and manage AI usage credits, we may collect your email address, username, and information required to authenticate your account.

This information is used to provide core functionality such as personalized calorie targets, nutrition tracking, progress visualization, account management, and AI usage management.

2.2 Local Storage & Account-Based Features

Nurido uses a combination of on-device storage and account-based services to provide its features while supporting user privacy.

• Core Features: You can use core tracking features without an account. Your profile, meal logs, weight history, and nutrition targets may be stored locally on your device. This information is not automatically uploaded to our services unless required for a feature you choose to use.

3. How We Use Information

Nurido processes data solely for the following operational purposes:

• Processing food images and text queries through AI-powered services
• Providing multilingual localization
• Diagnosing technical errors, crashes, and app stability
• Processing optional Premium subscriptions and in-app purchases through Google Play

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal or health-related data to data brokers or third parties.

4. AI Processing & Cloud Services

Nurido uses cloud-based services and AI technologies to provide automated nutrition estimations and conversational assistance.

When you use an AI feature:

5. Third-Party Services

Nurido uses third-party services to provide, maintain, analyze, and improve certain features of the Application. These services may collect or process information in accordance with their own Privacy Policies.

6. Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics

Firebase Analytics: Collects usage and diagnostic metrics, such as screen views, session duration, app version, and general device information, to help us understand feature usage and improve the user experience.

Firebase Crashlytics: Collects technical information such as crash reports, device state, and error logs when a crash occurs to help us identify and resolve software issues.

When you initiate the in-app Delete My Data action, Nurido may reset relevant application identifiers and remove applicable local diagnostic information.

7. Device Permissions

Nurido requests runtime permissions only when needed for a user-initiated action:

• Camera (CAMERA): Required only if you take a live photo of a meal for AI analysis.

You can grant, modify, or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings (Settings > Apps > Nurido > Permissions).

8. Notifications

Nurido may provide optional local reminders, such as meal logging reminders, water tracking reminders, or target alerts. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We do not use push notifications for third-party advertisements or marketing broadcasts.

9. Premium Subscriptions & Financial Data

Purchases of Premium features are handled through Google Play In-App Billing.

Nurido does not collect, view, process, or store:

• Credit/debit card numbers
• Billing addresses
• Banking or payment credentials

Transactions are governed by the applicable Google Play Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Nurido receives only the information necessary to verify purchases and provide access to purchased features.

10. Data Security

In-Transit Protection: Network communications used to provide Nurido's online and AI-powered features are protected using industry-standard security protocols such as TLS/HTTPS.

Data Protection: Locally stored information is protected using the security mechanisms provided by the operating system. Account-related information is protected using appropriate security measures provided by Nurido and its service providers.

While we implement reasonable security safeguards, no method of digital transmission or electronic storage is completely immune to security risks.

11. Data Retention

• Local Data: Health logs, weights, meal records, and settings remain on your device until you manually delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

• Third-Party Telemetry: Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics information is retained according to the applicable retention policies of Google Firebase.

12. Data Deletion & Account Deletion Compliance

We respect your right to control your data. Depending on how you use Nurido, you can delete your data and account in the following ways:

12.1 Local Data Deletion (For users without an account)

You can erase locally stored health records, nutrition logs, and user preferences at any time using the in-app "Delete My Data" option, or by clearing application storage through Android settings.

12.2 Account Deletion (For logged-in users)

If you have created an account, you have the right to request deletion of your account and associated account data, including information used to manage your AI features and usage credits.

• In-App Deletion: You can delete your account directly within the app by opening your Profile or Avatar and selecting the "Delete Account" option. This action will remove your account information from our services and clear applicable local data.

• Web Deletion (Without App): You can request account deletion via the web at any time by visiting our Account Deletion page at this link or by sending an email with the subject "Account Deletion Request" to support.nurido@gmail.com.
